Cette incroyable masse documentaire peut se consulter ici : <a href=\"https:\/\/collections.arolsen-archives.org\/\">collections.arolsen-archives.org<\/a><br>J&rsquo;y suis all\u00e9 chercher des documents concernant Andr\u00e9, mon grand-p\u00e8re, successivement d\u00e9port\u00e9 \u00e0 Buchenwald, Mauthausen et Ebensee. Et il y en a beaucoup.<br>Je ne lis pas l&rsquo;Allemand, mais beaucoup d&rsquo;indications sont intelligibles malgr\u00e9 tout. Je comprends qu&rsquo;il y a notamment une liste d&rsquo;effets personnels. Je rassemble sur cette page tous les documents num\u00e9ris\u00e9s sur le site des archives Arolsen, y compris les simples dos d&rsquo;enveloppes ou les documents (un, en fait), qui semblent concerner d&rsquo;un mois et a \u00e9t\u00e9 redirig\u00e9 vers Mauthausen le 22 f\u00e9vrier 1944<sup><a href=\"#footnote_1_444\" id=\"identifier_1_444\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"C&eacute;dric Gentil me signale cette fiche du site Monument-Mauthausen, qui pr&eacute;cise les dates : lieu de d&eacute;part, Compi&egrave;gne, le 22 janvier 1944. Arriv&eacute;e &agrave; Buchenwald le 24 janvier 1944, puis &agrave; Mauthausen le 25 f&eacute;vrier 1944 (trois apr&egrave;s y avoir &eacute;t&eacute; affect&eacute;, donc),. &Agrave; Mauthausen, il est affect&eacute; aux annexes de Steyr le 8 mars 1944 ; Camp central le 17 juin 1944 ; et enfin, affect&eacute; &agrave; Ebensee le 24 juillet 1944, jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; la lib&eacute;ration du camp le 6 mai 1945. Ensuite rapatri&eacute; par Sarreguemines le 24 mai 1945.\">1<\/a><\/sup>. Je remarque que sa profession est <em>Bankbeamter<\/em> (employ\u00e9 de banque), et que l&rsquo;adresse de la personne \u00e0 contacter en France est celle de son p\u00e8re Jean, au <a href=\"https:\/\/hyperbate.fr\/legendefamiliale\/2017\/09\/15\/le-chateau-de-lerse\/\">ch\u00e2teau de Lerse<\/a>, o\u00f9 mes arri\u00e8re-grands parents ont effectivement v\u00e9cu pendant les deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de la guerre. Je remarque que la mention est <em>\u00ab\u00a0Lerse par Blanzac (Charente)\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Or Lerse ne se situe pas \u00e0 Blanzac mais sur le territoire d&rsquo;une commune voisine, P\u00e9rignac. Je me demande si Andr\u00e9 ignorait la commune sur laquelle se trouvait le ch\u00e2teau familial, que son p\u00e8re avait c\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 son demi-fr\u00e8re quarante ans plus t\u00f4t et qui n&rsquo;\u00e9tait d\u00e9sormais plus pour la famille qu&rsquo;un lieu tr\u00e8s occasionnel de vill\u00e9giature, ou bien s&rsquo;il avait intentionnellement fourni une adresse qui serait intelligible pour un postier de la r\u00e9gion mais serait un peu plus difficile \u00e0 localiser avec un annuaire ou une carte d&rsquo;\u00c9tat-major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toujours sur le m\u00eame site, j&rsquo;ai aussi r\u00e9colt\u00e9 les images concernant Claude, le fr\u00e8re a\u00een\u00e9 d&rsquo;Andr\u00e9, d\u00e9port\u00e9 lui aussi, mais \u00e0 Dachau, ce qui m&rsquo;a permis (enfin) de semaine, j&rsquo;ai par ailleurs appris que Jos\u00e9 Cabrero Arnal, le cr\u00e9ateur du personnage Pif-le-chien, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 lui aussi d\u00e9port\u00e9 \u00e0 Mauthausen. Je l&rsquo;ai su par l&rsquo;auteur de bande dessin\u00e9e Gwen de Bonneval, dont j&rsquo;ai appris en m\u00eame temps que le grand p\u00e8re, Gaston, \u00e9tait lui aussi pass\u00e9 par Mauthausen. Or Gaston de Bonneval et mon grand-p\u00e8re Andr\u00e9 \u00e9taient sans le savoir cousins au quinzi\u00e8me degr\u00e9, puisqu&rsquo;ils ont des anc\u00eatres communs \u00e0 partir du XVe si\u00e8cle<sup><a href=\"#footnote_2_444\" id=\"identifier_2_444\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"Mais Am&eacute;na&iuml;de, l&rsquo;&eacute;pouse d&rsquo;Andr&eacute;, est bien plus proche, elle est cousine de Gaston de Bonneval au douzi&egrave;me degr&eacute;, avec des anc&ecirc;tres communs au XVIe si&egrave;cle.\">2<\/a><\/sup>. Et toujours \u00e0 cette occasion, j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9couvert que Julien Gentil, le grand-p\u00e8re de C\u00e9dric Gentil (conducteur de RER, auteur d&rsquo;un livre sur son m\u00e9tier, que j&rsquo;ai le plaisir de fr\u00e9quenter sur<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"sur Twitter (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GentilCedric\" target=\"_blank\"> Twitter<\/a>), avait lui aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9port\u00e9 \u00e0 Mauthausen puis \u00e0 Ebensee<sup><a href=\"#footnote_3_444\" id=\"identifier_3_444\" class=\"footnote-link footnote-identifier-link\" title=\"Komando (annexe) de Mauthausen, Ebensee a &eacute;t&eacute; un des derniers camps &agrave; &ecirc;tre lib&eacute;r&eacute;s. Ses commandants successifs, Georg Bachmayer, Otto Riemer et Anton Ganz &eacute;taient des brutes sadiques, et vers la fin de la guerre, les prisonniers mourraient de faim ou ex&eacute;cut&eacute;s &agrave; la cadence de trois-cent cinquante par jour, ce qui avait conduit &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;dification d&rsquo;un four cr&eacute;matoire et fait d&eacute;sormais qualifier Ebensee de &laquo;&nbsp;camp d&rsquo;extermination par le travail&nbsp;&raquo;. Le dernier commandant du camp, voyant approcher les troupes alli&eacute;es, a annonc&eacute; aux prisonniers qu&rsquo;ils allaient passer sous administration am&eacute;ricaine, leur demandant d&rsquo;attendre dans les mines qu&rsquo;ils avaient eux-m&ecirc;mes creus&eacute;es. Les prisonniers ont refus&eacute; de quitter leurs baraques, et ils ont eu raison : c&rsquo;&eacute;tait un ultime pi&egrave;ge, les galeries avaient &eacute;t&eacute; garnies d&rsquo;explosifs afin de faire dispara&icirc;tre les quelque 8000 survivants.\">3<\/a><\/sup> o\u00f9 il est rest\u00e9, comme Andr\u00e9, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que ce komando soit lib\u00e9r\u00e9, le 6 mai 1945.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"footnotes\"><li id=\"footnote_1_444\" class=\"footnote\">C\u00e9dric Gentil me signale <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"cette fiche du site Monument-Mauthausen (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.monument-mauthausen.org\/53858.html\" target=\"_blank\">cette fiche du site Monument-Mauthausen<\/a>, qui pr\u00e9cise les dates : lieu de d\u00e9part, Compi\u00e8gne, le 22 janvier 1944. Arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Buchenwald le 24 janvier 1944, puis \u00e0 Mauthausen le 25 f\u00e9vrier 1944 (trois apr\u00e8s y avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9, donc),. \u00c0 Mauthausen, il est affect\u00e9 aux annexes de Steyr le 8 mars 1944 ; Camp central le 17 juin 1944 ; et enfin, affect\u00e9 \u00e0 Ebensee le 24 juillet 1944, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la lib\u00e9ration du camp le 6 mai 1945.
